Well i took my truck in for the 04b24 customer satisfaction repair yesterday. Although i haven't experienced any of the symptoms. Figured i would let ford fix it before it broke, hopefully to save headaches on down the road. While i was talking to my service mgr i told her the only problem i have had with the truck was sometimes when i used 4low the truck took along time shifting out of 4low. It would take probably 5 minutes. I even tried the old reverse and back to neutral a couple times just to shake things up a lil. I only use the 4x4 2-3 times a month to pull my tractor out of hole or when the truck is on sand like the beach.

Back to topic. Service mgr called me back today and said it would probably be another week on my truck because when the tech looked at the transfer case he found a broken shifting fork. She said it was too late to order the parts today would be done first thing in morning. Parts would probably show up friday and be repaired Monday or Tuesday. Wife has to drive the loaner taurus for awhile. She isn't happy about that.

Truck is a 04' F250 cc 4x4 swb psd build 04-04 I have been extremly pleased with it since i have had it. Hopefully the tech does a good job for me.
