Front drive shaft problem

I put a 9 inch skyjacker kit on my 79 f-150. When i went to put the front drive shaft back in a ran into a problem. It's long enough but it binds up where it meets the transfer case. So I got a front drive shaft with a cv joint on it out of a 78 F-250 with a granny 4-speed. I tried to put it in but the cv joint hits the side of my C6 transmission. At this point I dont know what to do. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

With that much lift you might have to have a custom shaft made with cv joints on either end or you will have rotate your front pig up to make the angle less steep. Either way you are probably looking at taking it to a 4wd shop and having driveline work done whether it be custom shafts or have them change your pinion angle. Hope I helped

I don't know why that's hitting your tranny. I have a 205 with a C6 and the CV clears it fine though I did need to cut and notch my crossmember so the driveline would clear. But NCL is right, for the CV to work right you'll either need to point the pinion straight at the T-case or do a double CV.
