Full Size Spare??

Does anybody know how big of a tire you can fit in the spare tire carrier? Right now I am running 33x12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrains and I would like to have as close to a full size spare as possible. I have a 1995 F150 Reg Cab Short Bed. The spare tire now is a P265/75R15. Anybody know how big I can go?

Thanks,
Scott

I tried to put a 31 inch spare under my flareside, but the damn thing kept slipping over and resting on the exhaust pipe. You can use your existing spare just fine, as long as you don't drive a long distance on it. No sense in buying a new tire just for a spare. I'd use what you have and not worry about it.

I have a 95 F150 2wd with 31x10.50x15 BFG All Terrains on it. I put a limited slip differential in it and from experience of ruining that diff after using the stock spare on a trip and burning up the limited slip i bought a 31x10.5x15 BFG spare it fits in the tire carrier. I have aftermarket exhaust though the guy with the flareside might have stock exhaust. You might be able to squeeze a 32x11.50x15 in it but dont hold me to that
