Question Need '55 F-100 Lt Fr. Fender

I'm new to the forum. I have a '55 F-100 that I just got. Am looking for a Drivers side Front fender for it. The truck is in Las Vegas and I'm in Florida. If anyone knows of anyplace I could find a fender preferably near Vegas I would appreciate some info. I plan to drive it back to Florida so, anywhere along the way would also help.

Hi captnr,

I'm interested in seeing any photos of your truck. Can you take a few minutes and set up your gallery?

Here are some sources for a steel left front fender for your 55 F-100 (BAAA-16006A) in addition to Mid-Fifty that fordman mentioned.

AutoKrafters - $375 - Broadway, VA
Blue Oval Truck Parts - $380 - Anaheim, CA
Boss Auto Parts - $380 - Tustin, CA
C & G Early Ford Parts - $395 - Escondido, CA
Classic Auto Parts - $300 - Oklahoma City, OK
Dennis Carpenter Ford Products - $395 - Concord, NC
John's F-Fun Hundreds - $400 - Anaheim, CA
LMC Truck - $400 - Lenexa, KS
MAC's Antique Auto Parts - $390 - Lockport, NY
Mid-Fifty - $350 - Golden Valley, AZ
Sacramento Vintage Ford - $399 - Sacramento, CA

The easiest way to get this info is to use a list of vendors and just go through them. Here is one you can use in the future - Parts Vendor Links. Ordering catalogs, even at a few bucks each, is a really good investment as well.

Enjoy.

I tell you what to do. If you are driving from Vegas to Fla, just keep your eyes open along the way in the dry portion of your trip for old Fords sitting along the road, beside barns, etc. When I rebuilt my '54 my left front fender was was shot due to living in the rust belt. My brother-in-law who lived in Phoenix found a fender for me and brought it back East when he relocated back here.

Another option if you don't want to pay a for a new one is to check ebay. You may find one on your route to FLA.

Good luck, Abe

When you get to Vegas take a drive up to Pharump. I bought a lot of parts off of a gentelman that lives near Terribles casino by the lake. When you get to the casino go east at the intersection and he is about a mile or so down the road.

It's been a couple of years sense we were up there but I would think he still lives there.

A word to the wise watch your speed they love to give speeding tickets, so I am told.

Lots of old trucks in that part of the state.

Thanks to all that have replied. I will be going to Vegas in May and hope to fix and drive the truck back then. I think the truck might have been from the guy in Pharump. I've been trying to locate him thru friends in Vegas.Looks like I found him from a truck friend in Michigan. Strange world isn't it? I'll post pix when I can find the ones I took last year.

Is your truck white? The guy also had 2 56 ford panels setting in his yard along with a few f100's and a really nice 68 f100 that was his daily driver along with a newer f150.

My truck is in grey primer. It's a too long story, but My wifes friend bought it from the Pharump guy 3 or 4 years ago and then wrecked the thing. It's been setting for 2 or 3 years in her backyard. It would be nice if he has one though.Thanx!!
