rear seat

Ok this might seem like a foolish question but does the rear seat in a 2001 F-250 CrewCab lift up?? seems like a waste of space under the seat if it doesn't? i'd like to store like jumpper cables and some tools under there?

thanks

I believe that the rear seats in Crew Cabs folded up in '04 and higher. I have an '03 and my rear seat doesn't fold up. The back part does fold down. If you wanted to store something under the seat I would recommend a tray of some sort, I store some tools in a bag that doesn't slide, so that keeps most things in place.

my 2000 does not fold. i wish it did though. it would be nice if the whole thing folded so i could get to the rear storage without unhooking the baby seat.
