AOD to C6 HELP

AOD to C6 HELP
I have a 86 F150 4x4 w/ a 302EFI and an AOD trans. I am going to convert the engine to a carb. My question is will a 84' C6 and flywheel from a 4x4 replace my AOD as direct bolt in. I will be using my 86' transfer case and I want to know if it is the same as the 84 C6. My AOD looks like the tail shaft goes right into the transfer case. If anyone has done a converstion like this or knows if it will work I could really use the help.
