85 F150 fuel problem
I have a 85 with a 302 and duel tanks and fuel injection and cant get fuel. if i ground the dlc fuel terminal i hear the pumps working, the high presure pump on the frame sounds like its working and i can hear both low presure pumps in the tanks working depending on which one i have the switch on at the time, but the pumps wont run unless the dlc is grounded and the motor still wont run because of no fuel. I looked for a problem between the PCM and the fuel pump relay and found nothing so i replaced the PCM and fuel pump relay along with the eec power relay and the inertia switch, still I get nothing, I pulled the line from the high presure pump and ground the dlc and fuel comes shooting out, how come i cant get the pumps to run without grounding the dlc and how come fuel still isnt getting to the fuel rail even when it is grounded, can the high pressure pump being bad be causing the problem ? any imput would be greatly appreciated
