Did anyone go to Salina and see the global flyer take off? A few guys from work went down... mostly because Paris Hilton and John Travolta where supposed to be there. Rumor has it Hilton was in Dillards buying Lipstick... and it was on the news...... but I don't know about that?

Hey, it was on the news today that they were there. I'm trying to get work arranged to be in Salina on thursday, because I think that is the day it is supposed to return. Really cool that Salina has this happening.

Some of the guys from here at work are going back down to Salina again today to see him land. I thought it would be fun (they are tailgating)... but I'll pass. If any of you go, and you see a bright blue avalanche (ewww) with 20's and a skull and crossbones grill.. Tell them Chad says high, and have a beer on me. :-)

I thought it looked like he flew over Lakin. I entertained the idea of flying down to see him land but work prevented that. So I snuck home and watched him land on tv. I thought some of the live video inside the plane was cool.
I could see Paris Hilton fitting in at a hot air ballon launch. She must have been confused and thought it had something to do with Virgins.....
