Oil Sensor?
Hello,
My oil guage on my 95 F-150 4.9 L 300/6 is stuck on high!
I replaced the oil sensor going into the block with a new one but, it only worked for a second.
Any ideas on where I should look
next?

Oil Sensor?
Just a thought, did you disconnect the battery first? I'm told that the computer will remember what a sensor tells it, even after replacing. Pulling the ground off the battery resets & wipes the computer info.

Check the gauge next. Pull the sender wire while operational adn report what happens.
If nothing changed, its the gauge.
BTW-The gauge is just an idiot light and not a true gauge unless you have an older truck. (my 88 has the true gauge).
