2001 Ford Expedition
I just bought a used 2001 Ford Expedition with 50k. I bought the truck on Thrusday, drove it off the lot and it felt like the transmission went. I brought the truck back to the dealer and they said that it was a chip going bad, and they would fix it and have it to me by Saturday. Well I talked to the dealer today and he said the part hadn't come in, but it should be deliverd by 12n today and I would have it by the time I got off work - well it's time to go home so I call the dealer and he's not in at the moment so the secretary puts me through to the shop that is fixing my truck and the mechanic says that he is rebuilding my transmission. I am am VERY upset. Why would a truck with only 50k need a new transmission? Is this going to solve my problem? Should I just take the truck back all together? Any advice? - I would greatly appreciate it.
