alignment possible?

My front tires have a little postive camber (top leaning out). I have heard that it is impossible to have this fixed without major work (bending). Is this true? Its a 1990 f150 4x4 with a 4" lift and 35" tires.

Thanks

I to have a Possitive camber. I get my truck aligned 3 or 4 times a year.( I have a life time alignment through Sears, SCORE) I also have new progressive front springs. The Boys at Sears, who I have the greatest respect for say my camber is fine the way it is. I guess they are right because my new Michlins are wearing fine. I can send you a pic of my truck from the front if you like so you can compair. If it really bothers you there is a way of bringing the top in and the bottom out. I guess to make it look like a dirt racer. Just make sure your tire don't suffer.

I don't know if they make them for 4X4's but there are shim kits available for the 2X4's to correct this. BUT, they cost about $45 a pop plus installation, and one may not be enough so it could get quite costly. My '85 has been out for years, mainly because I couldn'd see paying that kind of money to fix a problem that I don't notice. So long as the shocks and steering linkage are good my tires wear well.
