Clunk
I was offroading the other day with my 96 F-350 4WD Powerstroke, when all of a sudden there was a loud CLUNK from underneath the front of the truck. I was having fun with it but was not abusing it just mudding. The truck worked fine after the noise and it shifts in and out of 4WD just fine like nothing happend. No I didnt hit a stump or rock. My question is, what happend?

I bet you busted a cab mount. I had the same thing happen on my old 3/4 ton chevy. Big loud clunk. Everything felt fine. I looked around and found the disk from the cab mount embedded in the dirt.....Never did fix it 99 F-350 Lariat V10 4x4 LB SRW
