Adding a tach?

I want to add a tach to my '05 F150 with a 4.2L V6.

Anyone have sugestions on mounting locations and hardware?
I wouldn't mind doing a piller mount but I don't see a 05 single guage piller. I would also consider a steering column pod but I can't find any of them for the 05's ether. They have the 04 ones.

well, I think that autometer makes a single, but if not, get a double, then get a phantom tach and a clock. Just like the viper!!!

Check Out The Coin Holder

There's a recent thread entitled "Coin Holder ???" - it included some discussion of mounting gauges in that. I was thinking of mounting a transmission temperature gauge there. Not optimum for a tach, as the shift lever may be in the way, but we don't need to check the tach *that* often with an automatic IMHO...

Good idea about the coin holder spot! I didn't even think of that. And yes with an AT I don't need to check it. Its just a nice thing to have. I'm gona check out autometer to.

Thanks guys!
