Clunk on acceleration.
If I try to accelerate hard, peel out, I get a very hard clunks like axle wrap but that's not it. The shifters will both move and truck will violently buck. I replace the trans mount, engine mounts and the clutch. Also have new drive shafts. It will only do it on hard pavement were the truck can hook up. On loose or wet surface there is no problem. Also the truck has 6" of suspension lift and 35" tires. Has a healthy 302 and a Mazda 5-speed. truck is 4x4. The problem was there before the lift so I don't think that is the problem.. The new trans mount has significantly reduced the problem but the truck still won't launch hard on pavement without clunking and bucking. Any ideas?

Okay, launch hard on pavement with a 302, 5-speed with a 6" lift and 35" tires? Why, first of all. Second, probably your clutch pack in the rear end or if the driveshafts are not set up correctly for the lift, drive shaft. Either way, continue to do it and you'll have broken axles and the third member won't matter much.
