Not Starting - need help

I haven't had any problems with my 2003 until this morning (approximately 18,000 miles). For background information, we left home a week ago with the cabover on and the jeep in tow. We drove approximately 450-500 miles without any problems. A few days later we drove, with the same load, another 100 miles. A few days later we drove another 100-200 miles. Yesterday, we finished our trip by driving the remaining 350 miles home. We had no problems during the past week. This morning, the truck won't start. It cranks over, but does nothing else. It doesn't smoke or anything. Any thoughts on what the problem could be - or has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks in advance.
Andy

Does it crank at normal crank speed?

What is the temperature there?

Normal crank speed no start could be:

1. Fuel pump pressure

2. Oil pressure low.

3. FICM problems

4. Glow plug circuit problems.

5. Other sensors or problems.

Call Ford Customer Service and get the roadside assistance. It should still be under warranty.

Thanks for the suggestions. The temperature here is 65 degrees. It cranks like normal, not slower or faster. While I am cranking it over, the oil pressure jumps up to 40-50 (I believe). I'll have to call roadside tomorrow - no dealers are open today.

Porch, you have a low pressure oil system and a high pressure oil system to operate the injectors. Without oil pressure, no fuel gets through the injjectors. The other is fuel pressure. Fuel pump and fuel system could also be suspect.

First thing would be to read the codes. They will do that for certain at the service department.

Check the fuel pump relay

I had a buddy that was test driving a new truck and the fuel pump relay was loose. It is under the hood I think near the fire wall on the drivers side right up on top. If I remember right. Simply look in your ownwers manual to see the location. Jiggle and tap it to see. You may be able to hear it as well. Not sure if that will help. It may be in the fuse panel can't remember right now. The ownwers amnual will show it's location.
It would turn over just would not crank. Also five months ago my truck showed 3/8 tank of fuel but it was really empty. That problem was when shell was having high sulpher content or somthing similar. I put a couple gallons of fuel in mine and it cranked right up. I was happy to say the least. The gauge incident did not repeat itself again. I carried a five gallon container of fuel around for the next month or so just to be sure.
