interesting list! 04 f-350 sd cc long bed 6 speed manual, purchased 10/03 cant read engine build date, been in shop 36 days since purchased, 7 visits, tire vibration at 42 mph, three visits, cannot fix, injector change at 2700 miles, #2 injector only, exhaust leak into cab at 7600 miles, exhaust and turbo plate change out, still have exhaust into cab, all rotors turned at 17,000 miles, was told this is normal for the f-350 sd, after turbo plate replacement i developed a harmonic vibration at 1100 rpm, been back to shop 4 times for this , no fix available, the vibrations and exhaust in cab have been labeled by ford and my dealership as nusiences only and they have done as much for me as they can??? where to go from here? do not want to go to lemon law as it takes way to long. any suggestions would be appericated. thanks
WOW what a list! the tire vibration. did you try the tire dealership company owned? Sounds like it might be out of balance (tires). Do you get exhaust fumes while running down the road or sitting at a light?
the exhaust fumes come in when i start the truck in the driveway with the air/heat on, the tires have been force balanced and they say it is not the tires, not sure where to go from here with these problems
of coarse you are going to get exhaust fumes with the heat on sitting in the driveway. the exhaust fumes get sucked into the cab by the heater. my wife gets mad at me when i start my 6.5 diesel chebby work truck cause if her car is running with the heat blasting the diesel smoke gets sucked in by the heater.
if thats true 86f15035s then can you explain why no fumes prior to the exhaust changeout? and it did not come in as bad after the changeout, i wrote it off at first as being brought in by the heater but is getting progressively worse again?
I would start by looking for exhaust leak from the point the changeover was done. You will have to closely inspect all joints( even use a mirror to see on top).
Do you know someone with the same truck? If so - see if you could swap tires for an hour. Sometimes I wonder about these tire balancers. This would either prove the tire problem or not.

"the tires have been force balanced and they say it is not the tires, not sure where to go from here with these problems"
Had the same vibration on my '05 250 cc'sb fx4. Tires reindexed and balanced still had vibration between 40-45mph. Return trip to dealer replaced rear drive shaft, problem solved.
Do you have a chassis dyno near your home.....go do a couple of pulls and see if you can isolate it....i.e. from the front to the rear or if it is in the driveline...you can see a driveline whip on the dyno.
My first step would be to replace the dealer you are taking your truck to for service. Doesn't sound like are able to fix a bicycle tire. There is no reason these items can't be corrected with some thought and troubleshooting skills. If it were normal to have rotors turned at 17,000 miles, there would be thread after thread on the subject on this site and I have not seen them.
Tdusseau has given you a good suggestion on the vibration as did bigredtruckmi. I'm sure you are frustrated. Don't assume the dealer has good diesel and truck techs. Some do and soem don't. Sounds like these guys do not.

a friend of mine had trouble with his tires on his 05 and it turned out to be one of the wheel's was out of round. and with all of the trouble you are having i think i would change dealer.
