DSB question?

Recieved acceptance letter and have a case number. What can I expect next? Will Ford contact me before the DSB board does? I feel I have a very good case. I went to an outside source that does another Ford dealerships road force balancing. They wrote up a very nice work order on what they felt was the problem. Problem is not resolved after five attempts. Here in Pa we need three to lemon law. What do you think Ford will do next? {vibration}

Ford may try to settle with you first. If they offer make sure you understand exactly what it is they are proposing. Get everything in writing before accepting.

They may just ask you if you still have the problem with the truck.

They may decide to fight you all the way.

Next thing that will happen is the DSB will send the dealer paperwork to be filled out about your vehicle. After the dealer fills it out it will be sent to you to rebutt any incorrect information. (mine had a ton) then you send it back in with up to 2 more pages of additional information that you wish to present.

After that the DSB will contact you just prior to the hearing with exact date and time.

Good luck
