Tranny won't shift into 3rd
Just got unstuck. Drove into a hole I just covered up. Truck sitting on belly and wheels spinning. Pulled it out with tractor. Didn't gag it trying to rock it out. It did take some effort even with the tractor's help. Now it won't shift into 3rd. First is nice and tight. 2nd isn't too crisp. No third. Temp guage was a little high as it sat idling for a while. Trans fluid a little low. Any ideas? Is it rebuild time? Only has 170K! It is in a 97 f250 4x4. An automatic overdrive. whatcha reckon its gonna cost?
