slip yoke query
i have encountered some different types of slip yokes from late 80's onward Fords, that I'm not familiar with.
I swapped an AOD into my 76 F250 awhile back, and the slip yoke I got for it seems to have a vibration dampening ring on it of steel and rubber.
Are these weighted at all, or do they merely serve to eliminate vibrations?
My truck has a divorced tcase, so this slip yoke is on the front of my intermediate shaft. I have been experiencing slight vibrations, and am trying to solve the issue.
any info would be appreciated
