this is what i have. I have a 1968 F-100 ranger that someone changed the motor, I was todl that it is a 351C but i am questioning it. This is a number that i got off the intake C4SE9425A . What is this? What does it stand for? I need help I have a 1969 that has a 390 in it and this looks alot like that 390 I really dont want to take the motor apart to measure but if i have to i will. Maybe that C4SE9425A might be a clue
The number you cited is the intake manifold casting ID. The catalog "part" number would be C4SE-9424-A.
The C4SE prefix means that the part was originally designed for a 1964 Thunderbird application (probably a 390 4V). I think those manifolds were used on both 352s and 390s (both FE engines) starting in 1964.
Since the 351C did not go into production until MY1970, the earliest 351C parts would have a D0xx prefix.
