Dashboard brake light
Red light wont go off. Can someone tell me where the sending unit is for the red light on the dash. My 83 f100 ran low of brake fluid and the dash light came on. I replaced a leaking brake cylinder and now the red light wont go off.

Most of them are located on the top of the proportioning Valve usually on the inside of the fender down from the M/C

Dashboard brake light
Your proportioning valve can get "off center" when one side of your brake system fails. Easiest thing to do is have someone sit inside and push on the brakes while the key is on. Have them watch the light and crack the lines on the master cylinder one at a time, just enough that a little fluid runs out. One or the other will push the valve back into position and the light will go out. Might want to check the emergency brake and make sure that switch is working properly and not causing the light to come on.
