adding a seat?????

Our family does alot of camping and it would really be great if I could have the benifit's of having a bench seat in the front of the Bronco without having a bench seat.

What I am planning on doing is building a new seat in place of the clutter catcher in between the two front seats. Make it pretty much like the center folding seat/armrest in the newer trucks.

My ??? is where to mount the extra seat belt.......Should I fab up a bracket to mount using both of the other 2 factory seat belt bolts and mount the new seat belts to that?

Any other ideas would be taken into concideration

Since the factory mounting points are reinforced, you should use them. Else, not only you'd need to drill your own holes (which is easy) but you'd also need to reinforce them. (not so easy)

I am adding a rear back seat like the Expeditions, Infact the seat is comming out of a 99 Expedition. It fits perfect, just need to rig up some latches to secure it to the floor and make it easy to remove. May have to do some custom welding, but It will be perfect for crusing the beach with the family.

A fella from another Bronco site (PM me and ill tell ya) bought, and installed a rumble seat in his truck. This managed to keep the best of both worlds. Writing area, cup holder, and seat.
