Blinkers
I put a home made bumper on my 05 cab and chassis and now the blinkers blink way to fast. In the old days that meant you needed to put a heavy duty blinker box in. Is that still the case? And if so does anyone know the location of the box, and if it's a special blinker box?

Years ago, when you would plug in a trailer the extra lighting would make the blinkers blink fast. Installing a heavy duty box would solve the problem. My bumper has more rear lights than stock so that's why I feel a heavy duty box would fix it.

Well, I figured it out. When the deck guy added my deck he unpluged my old tailights but used the trailer wiring to rewire my deck lights, leaving my tail light plugs unpluged. I will need to rewire using the old plugs to solve my problem.
