I have a 96 5.0L Explorer, and i only had the truck for 500-1000 miles when this problem occured, it has a total of ~130,000 miles. The problem is my truck will only work in 1st or second gear, problem just happened one day while i was driving, was probably going about 45, RPM just went up like i lost OD so i stoped and i parked it, then i noticed if i downshift it will work. If i turn OD off still no go. Service light is not on, just was wondering if there was some kind of solinoid, or sensor, or something in the computer that could have had a problem. All fluids are brand new including the trans filter, as i changed them as soon as i got them. Thanks in advance for the help.
