holley carb ?
first off im no carb guru. my 86 250 w/460 has a holley carb on it, which is ok i guess, but how do you tell what cfm it is? numbers stamped somewhere? also what is a double pumper and what does it look like? thanks for any help you can give. oh yeah, how much carb is too much?

I don't know for sure, but I think the factory holley carb was rated at 625cfm. Holley carbs have fuel bowls on the front and back of the carb, and they all have an accelerator pump mounted on the front bowl. A double pumper has two accelerator pumps, one on the front, and one on the back., so when you step on the throttle, you get a double shot of gas instead of a single.
