Help!!! Predator problem!!
I need help asap! I just put a Predator module on my 99 F350 P-stroke and I loved it for one whole tank. Today, I was pulling a steep grade in "towing" mode and my "check engine soon" light came on. After that, it nearly died and barely made it up the hill. I disconnected the module, disconnected the battery cables and let it sit for 1/2 hour. IT still barely runs. I called the place where I bought the module and they told me that unplugging the chip would solve my problem, not so. After many swear words, they called Predator (or so they say) and told me that the ICP sensor went out and that it was typical for my engine. The truck has only 60,000 miles on it and it ran perfectly just before I engaged the chip. He then basically said I was an idiot for not knowing about the ICP problem. I was thrilled by that! Any ideas??? The check engine light is NOT on and I do not have a code reader, tiome to tow it to the dealer??
