Strange stuff going on
My dad bought a 2001 expedition about 4 months ago & he rarely drives it. Lately he's been noticing some strange things going on with it. He says it trys to start on its own with out the key in the iginition, the alarm goes off at random times, the turn signal goes on while the vehicle is off, and about 2 seconds after turning the vehicle off the a/c comes on full blast. He's had to resort to disconnecting the battery when not in use. Even with all that going on, he says the vehicle runs great. So I was just wondering if anyone else had encountered similar problems? Oh and that recall, he has to wait till April because tha parts are on backorder. Luckily the expedition is still under warranty and hopefully it covers these problems. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
