4x4 conversion - found what i need?!
i found this on ebay and i think its exactly what i need to convert my 96 f150 2wd. its the same ratio as mine and from what ive read it'll bolt right up. and for the price, i don't think i can pass this up, plus its really close to me. heres the auction number: 7955654479 please let me know if this is what i need

That is a start. You will need a whole lot more than just that before you are done. I am not here to discourage you, but do you know what you are getting into? There is a lot involved. You will need a 4wd tranny and tcase, probably exhaust mods, driveshafts, and other little stuff. I am pretty sure the radius arms and coils work, though.

yea i know ill need alot more, been eyeing up the local junk yards. i know the swap is bolt in so i think i can do it, just making sure i buy the right stuff before its too late.

well bought the axle today. gonna pick it up hopefully this weekend. i wanna rebuild the whole thing and maybe put an air locker or something in while i have it on the ground. hope to be finished the whole swap by mid-july
