97 E/B electrical problem

97 E/B electrical problem
I drove my 97 E/B to work(about 80 miles one way)in the snow and slush.Truck runs great but a problem has surfaced again,this is the third time in about a year always in inclement weather.First time it was heavy snow,the battery light came on and every few minutes the lights on right lower part of inst cluster would come on.I replaced the alt(I had it checked it was bad).Second time was also in the snow and only inst cluster lights came on(the red idiot lights).After lights would lite and go off the O/D lite started flashing.I went to see a friend at the Linc/Merc dealer I do work for he told me the trucks had a problem with windshield lam separating and water leaking on a control box.I also failed to mention airbag lite would also flash a code 52.Once truck was dry and after enough key cycles lites would clear.Well it happened again today,oh yeah with key off the blower motor would still run if it was in on position.Has anyone ever heard of this problem and was it a recall?Any help would be appreciated Thanks Dave
