I Bought a Brand new 2003 F350 CC DRW 4x4 6.0 Diesel 7/11/03
On 10/30/2003 10079 Miles.I took it to my dealer the truck was vibrating and my front Brakes were shot
They replace Pads, Rotors For free. And told me my front tires were shot and that ford does not warranty tires due to normal use. . And advised me to rotate the tires so paid to have them rotate the tires. Then on 1/4/04 at 15402 Miles I took it back because the truck was vibrating Again they told me my front tires were shot and needed to be replaced because they were feathering and I had them rotate them again. And asked them to check the front end out. They said everything was in specks. At 4/7/04 21515 Miles the truck is vibrating again so I took it in again they can’t find anything wrong. So I thought the tires that came with it were junk to begin with. And maybe because it was a DRW .so I figured I ware them out and by new ones .so I drove for over 20000 mile with this vibration.
So at 43000 miles I had new Bridgestone tires put on $1400.00. Worth. Was fine till 50000 mile and then the vibrating are back. Took it back to the dealer they checked the front end again nothing wrong there. Then they told me I need new tires again in the front. I got a hole 7000 miles on them. So heard on the web that there was a problem with some of ford truck rims not being round. So I called customor service after a week they said they would replace the front rims. But if I wanted them to put a set of my rear tires on I have to pay otherwise they will put the bad front tires on the new rims. And they told that when I brought the truck in at 10079 that my dealer should have put new tires on it for free. But since I waited till 50000 to call customer service im out of luck. It’s BS!!!! to make matters worse this is the 3rd superduty i Bought. and the 7th ford truck in 5 years .Plus that makes 4 sets of tires. the front of this truck has ruin .
Has any one else had a Problem with Tires Or Rims how did you get rid of the problem?
