Expy console q

Expy console q
What (if anything) is under/behind the console of a 97-02. In particular where the "tissue holder" part of it is. I am considering an expy as my patrol vehicle but I need to know if I can mount my radio/siren box/light control box in the console? I know Ford has a police edition expy but they are few and far between.

My 97 has a CD changer in the console and in the back of it I have heat and air controls along with audio controls. The rear blower is also in the console. Keep in mind that I have the sunroof in mine and they couldn't run everything overhead like in the Expys without sunroof.

There isn't a whole bunch of room under the tray before you hit the floor. There might be a couple of inches but there are also a few cross braces to contend with. Other than that it is pretty empty.
