Mass Air Question
When you switch to a K&N filter and intake what happens to the mass air sencer? I was looking into installing one my self (the chrome inlet tubes) but was not sure about thae mass air. I removed the stock Airbox and boy what a differencewould like to make it look a little better under the hood with the Chrome inlet tubes wanting to know if I need to cut the new inlet tube so the Mass air sencer will fit.?

It's unusual that there wasn't something in the directions about relocating the sensor or taking the sensor and it's plastic parts and reusing them. The chrome kit is the 77 series and K&N has the full workup on installing it at their site. According to the directions you keep the stock mass air sensor and it's plastic assembly that holds it to the air box. Unbolt the part from the air box after disassembling the air box and reinstall it on the FIPK.
