They are a very useful tool, Ive used them doing electrical work for years you
can find a large asortment of uni-bits at electric supply places. The small ones
seem to break easy. They used to have a good warranty .

Step bits are designed for sheetmetal and thin wall steel. I rarely use them on new holes, just for opening up smaller holes. The large cutting surface can get a good bite of forced too fast and twist a wrist very easily. But they are very handy and do the job great if used properly.
