Is pin #1 the power source for computer? My '84 F-150 runs with the 60-pin connector disconnected to the computer. I checked all the pins on the connector going to the computer, and none supply any voltage to the computer.
My electrical schematic shows a red fuse link on a yellow wire going to pin #1. Does anyone know where that fuse link is located?
Just forward of the computer, there is an electrical box about a third the size of the computer. What is that?
Pin #1 is call "keep alive power" and it is a yellow wire and it should run to a fusible link which is located near the starter solenoid which is where the power comes from.
Is the "stay alive" the primary and only power source to the EEC or are there secondary power sources (not related to feedback sensors) that I should also check?
