Specs wanted, please

I`m new to this site, so I hope I`m posting in the right place. I looked under specs, but couldn`t find anything going back as far as my old truck. I`d like to know the capacity of the behind the seat gas tank in my 1970 one ton truck, and the capacity of the four speed transmission. I`m going to go to synthetic gear oil and I don`t know how much to buy. Thanks, Doug

According to Chilton's the gas tank was a standard 20-gallon or an optional 24. As to the tranny, it's 6-1/2 pints. That goes for either the New Process or Warner.
