trans problems, '02 f350

trans problems, '02 f350
when put in drive it takes about 5-10 seconds to engage. even worse when its cold, but once going its fine. i changed the filter and added lucas "stuff" and still didnt do it. any help or just plan on a new tranny? 130,000miles
