Paint recall
Hey fellows. I am looking for information on the paint recall of the 85/86 F series. Specifically, I remember reading that one of those you had to be the original owner to receiev a new paint job. But I cannot remember now. I have tried the recall site here on this site but either I do not know how to vavigate to this information or it just is not there.

Paint recall
The best advice I can give from experience is to call the local dealer & ask for the area factory reps phone number. Had the same problem on a 3yr old mustang (84). But I was not the original owner, so nothing happened. But you also must concider the age of the truck. Being over 10 years old is not going to help you. But give it a try.... can't hurt

Paint recall
The paint recall is done it has been for awhile, so if you have a problem with the paint you have to get ahold of the factory rep and you have to be the original owner. My step sister couldn't get her truck painted because she got married and her name changed they told her she wasn't the original owner!!!
