Don't Make The Same Mistake !
Kept losing my valvestem caps. Went to Crappy Tire and kept buying new plastic ones.Last round they had some fancy lookin metal ones,I thinks Oh Yaah they would look good .Hey maybe they will stay on better . Well great , our temps have been fluctuating alot and I noticed my tires looked a little low.Hence I pull up to my garage and fire up the compressor and pull the hose out.Well I go to unscrew the caps and I cant get any of them off ! No problem,I'll judt get some pliers and get the off.Nope, valvestem spins in rim !!!!!? Get another pair of pliers and hold the valvestem wiyh one and the cap with other,slow easy constant force.Nothing! I put some more juice to her and voila PPSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTT.......I tear a hole in the valvestem ! 
Take off the tire GRRRRRRRR........put spare on and drive to tire shop.........$44.00 later and I'm rollin' again. What self inflicted pain.

try the metal screw on type of valve stem, they don't fail.
