thinking about buying a 2000 F550 crewcab, has 160,000 miles. has pulled a 5th. wheel trailer on the highway since new. guy who owns it told me the only problem he knew about was, when you started it you had to rev up. otherwise the oil pressure gauge would not move and the engine would shut off. said something about a fuel pressure thing needed to be replaced.
i have 3 powerstrokes from 96 to 01 and have never heard of a problem like this. question is, is there any link between fuel , oil and computer. i can buy this truck for $14031 the payoff.
