Havoline syn
I bought some closeout Havoline full synthetic 5-30 and noticed later some of it is SJ GF-2 and some is SL GF-3.Is this too much out of date or has full full synthetic not changed that much?Thanks!

What do you want to use it in? Unless you are using it in a newer vehicle that requires SM, you are probably ok. Shelf life is a long time usually. This oil probably is better as far as additives go, which would be good for older vehicles.

The SJ was pao synthetic . I cannot guarantee but it should still be good to use but made before 2001 . I'd use it up first .
The SL was group III synthetic FWIW
