I am in the process (just beginning) of restoring a '78 F250 Crewcab 4x4 sb and was wondering if an original master parts book would be helpful in getting all the correct pieces back in place. I have found a book to buy however the book has no pictures, only text of part numbers. Would this be of great value in a restoration or just an artifact that would be nice to have?
Thanks for your suggestions!

I bought some pages that deal with my year truck ('79) from a parts book on ebay and it has some drawings of many of the parts. I haven't had reason to use it yet but it is a neat thing to have. It's interesting to look back in time, sort of.
