predator problem
just got my Predator today and i'm having a problem, the unit reads "fatal, can't find PCM size" called Diablo and the guy said had 3 this week with same problem, has any one else had this experienced or is this my inability to properly follow directions? i'm trying to use this on a 2003 with a 6.0 PSD , truck was built 04/03, never been reflashed ,(do my own fluid and filter changes) the Predator unit is #u7176 ,version75e, and is properly calibrated according to guy at Diablo.

thanks for info,don't understand why resaler would not specify the different versions for different years and state that you need later flash(kind of scared to let local ford dealer touch my truck, previous bad experience)I'm gonna try to contact Motorhaven and Diablo today and see if anything can be done short of sending unit back and ask above questions and make it easier for everyone.

Dont tell the dealer you want the flash for the predator tell them it is surging or something like that,or hard to start or smoking.

FYI...
finally got my predator tune reinstalled after the new flash...
and WOW...
decided to put the +100 in since I've not had it in in a LONG time... and from what I recall my fuel EVAPORATED I ran it so hard
BUT - with my limited test today !!!
either they changed the coding for the overhead calcs OR I am getting BETTER fuelage WITH the 100HP tune in than I did stock or with the 65hp in and the previous flash !!!
WITH the 65hp tune in my regular overhead would be in th 16+ mpg range... today it said 17.8 after i got back from my 30 or 40 mile run around the area !!!
I'm STOKED so far... will see if it comtinues...
(and I DID have a few full throttle spurts just to remind of how QUICK this tank is !!!)
(FYI,
could not put the 100 hp in and remove speed limiter
there is a problem with the newest flash and the latest Predator flash - fix is out next week so they tell me)
So I guess I'll have to get to 94 mph in about 6 seconds and hold it there no faster !

ok - near a weeks worth of running around with the new flash and the 100hp setting.... and STILL pleased with the fuelage !!!!
Remember the first time I put in the 100hp and QUICKLY realized it was killing my mpg.... this time it's not as bad....
(course the 65hp will probably be better !)
but this is FUN !

well just installed predator 30 min. ago ,i did the reflash and downloaded the updates , I chose the 65 hp setting and Yehaw!! , I would like to thank everyone for their help , and by the way ,when do I stop grinning?
