surge
Purchased 05 F-450 crew cab 4x4 Powerstroke 6 speed. Has 7000 miles and since new has surged at 2000 rpm's. Dealer says Ford is investigating. Is anyone else having similar problem?

Not to scare you but your surge could emanate from a variety of different sources.
Please add detail if you can and i am sure others will chime in. For instance...is 2,000 RPM the always magic mark? Always in the same gear? Cold? Warm? Or Both? Recent oil changes. Well...you get my drift.

- wrong oil
- Bad EGR Valve
- PCM
- Bad fuel / filter
- EBP
- ICP
