C6 trans question
I have a 460 with a C6 trans out of a motor home. Can the tailstock be swapped for the one on my 79 4x4 which couples to the transfer case or is a C6 4x4 trans different form a 4x2 C6 Thanks Don

It can be swapped, but you also need to change the output shaft. They are different, too.
As you tear down the transmission the output shaft is the last part to come out, and the first one to install. It can't be replaced without removing everything from inside of the transmission.
