Can someone tell me if the rearends in the F100 and F250 were the same? Things like widths and ratio's. Were they all 9"? If you've got that information or know where to find it, I'd appreciate.
No, the F-100 and the F-250 are 2 separate and different rear ends. The F-100's used 9 inch or a Dana 44.1 rear. The F-250 used a Dana 60 rear, with floating hubs, 12 inch brakes. The F-100's had 11 inch brakes like the full sized cars did, many different ratios starting with 2.70, 3.00, 3.25, 3.70, 3.89 4.11, 4.57 ratios. There are pthers, but these are the most common. The F-250 had ratios of 3.54, 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88 . THe widths are different, I can't fill you in on those details, maybe someone else has that info.
Suggest also run general search under topic. In addition, came across thread dated 6/30/04, " New F100-Rear 9" question"; again, not sure if applys to your question but may find interesting. Probably can find if run an advanced search under FTE member who posted thread "tenmile".
Good luck,
dave
