Reverse lights

If the Trucks a rockin' don't come a knockin'
Before you do this, check the bracket on the bell housing (drivers side) that aligns the shifter link to the transmission for looseness or mis-alignment. If the tranny is shifting right, with the engine off and the wheels blocked, hook up an ohm meter to the switch and see if the reading changes between reverse and all other gears.
If it doesn't, pull the switch and bench test it.
They have been known to occasionally fail...
If that isn't it, I think you have a wiring problem.
The circuit is simple, twelve volts to the switch.
In reverse, it provides a current path, and that goes more or less straight to your reverse lights (if everything is working)
