For those interested local 1250 has posted the note that was sent on their website, so if you are interested go to UAW local 1250 web site an click on INTER Plant Leaflets, for the latest news.

This is good news, thanks for diggiing this up. Kinda funny how, from the UAW website: "a temporary first quarter freeze because of the current cycle plan, causing the Hurricane announcement to be put on hold" is interpreted by the Blue Oval News as: "Ford Hurricane engine program has been discontinued primarily due to financial concerns" Both article were dated Feb. 4, so neither is more up to date. I hope Ford comes through on this.
AG4.0 maybe that is why the local has a "rumor hotline" that workers can access. The internet is full of stories that are just plain untrue or at best misinterpreted. I believe a lot of what one reads on the internet is just a way to get a few more "hits" on the old web site.
Yeah, I've learned to not put too much stock in the articles on the B.O.N. They do get a good amount of good info, it's just a matter of checking the sources, kinda like how in your other thread I wanted to know where you were coming from with the Value V-8. Keep us posted on anything else you hear.
Well AG4.0 an announcement should come by time of New York auto show. Lots of people on pins and needles to see where the blocks will be cast let alone other contracts. Nobody thinks it is doa.
Maybe ford will introduce the Hurricane officially at the NY Auto Show. Seems there are a lot of people that here at FTE that only believe bad news. It seems that with the Excursion going bye-bye, and the new extended length Expedition soon to arrive, that the Hurricane would be the perfect fit for such a vehicle, even if it is only the Value V8 that you informed us of.
If they do go ahead with the Hurricane, do you think we will see it this fall in the 06's, or will we have to wait for it in the 07 model?
I should not give timing, but if you surf the web site you will find the answer. When the lid is off this program it will be easier to dicuss. Happy surfing AG4.0 !
