I also like the idea of having the website url in the logo.

And why doesn't my cotton-pickin' SIGNATURE show up in my posts?!

it's a mouse over sig, move your mouse to the upper right where it says signature, and it is there... just have to look for it, that's the way it is being done around here these days...
as for the website url in the logo, that is the official way it is supposed to be, to take it out would mean it would not be accepted by the admin... it's been done before with those results. The link I posted for the fte logo is the official logo. It is accepted to be used.

I like that fellro. I'm with Justin though on the faded lines in the logo. I'm not sure how you would get them out but it looks like you probably can figure it out. At the rate you two are going will have a logo in no time.

defintely the second for those, not everyone can ID by outline... we do unfortunately have the geography challenged individuals in this nation that have no clue... be a good idea to check into it, as I hadn't really figured out how to correct that fading line...

In Photoshop, you put the FTE logo on top of the state image
You then set the layer property to Multiply
That will give you solid lines on the state outline

Here's an example I just did for the MN chapter. Still need to work on it (sorry for posting a MN logo in the MO)

thanks for the tip, may have to play around a bit and see how it works out, but it looks like Justin's getting a handle on things...

edit: well, I don't seem to have a multiply on my program, but I just freehanded the line in, gets the color up to strength better. Here's a couple more to look at:

Those look pretty good. Hate to be a bother but could you try one where the state lines stop at the fte logo and then continue on the other side. So there are no lines going throught the fte logo.
