My Stull grille shows no sign of wear in almost 2 years (If that helps). It still cleans off easily and looks shiny. It is the Stull Beefy Billet Vertical Grill (pix in my gallery). I would assume any of their products would have the same wearability, since they use the same materials for their product line.
But you know... I'm wondering if maybe the stuff they use on the roads during winter, etc in Elkhart aren't having an affect on the grill's you've had??? Just a thought. If that's the case and it were me, I'd abandon buying/replacing the grill every year or so and go back to the stock grill. It just wouldn't be worth it to me. But that's just me... Can't see dumping money over and over again into something that always results in disappointment.
jetjock you are in for a disapointment! I have had that grill since Jan. and it looks like crap!!!! It didn't take it any time to start changing color, thing looks yellowish\greyish, didn't take it any time to get that way. I thought the grill would be the way to go since it is one piece and the style I like, it is plenty tough, but it really looks crappy! Mine had a ton of cromed plastic I had to shave off the back of it so it couldn't be seen through the front of it, took about three hours do make it look good. I am tired of messing with differn't grilles, thinking of going back to stock, I think it is the best\strongest grill there is...
I have a Stull grille and it still looks as good as the day I put it on. I am going to replace it though. I am looking for a different look on the front and have in mind what I want.

Thanks for the heads up, the grill was not very expensive so you may be right, it might turn to crap.. on the other hand my truck is babied like i dont want to admit, sleeps indoors every night AND DAY, only gets driving 3-4 times A MONTH... almost like a showtruck.. but its only cause im soo damn busy i dont get to drive it..always kept clean, never sees mud etc... i only use it to take weekend trips to the dunes or down to the ocean, or summer road trips.. .so hopefully taking care of it will make it last.. but it was cheap so i wont be supprized.. ill let you know.
JJ
Yah if your truck stays inside and you don't get the grill wet you might be ok, kinda of shame, really like the looks of the grill and how tough it is, I am almost temted to get it recromed, maybe then it will be a good grill, I haven't seen one yet that I like as much....
i just put a 2004 factory harley grill and bumper cover on my 99 SD. it fit perfect and since it is a factory item, should last. it's a good look, not as bold as the 05 regular chrome truck, but an easy switch and everything fits and works.

Clay, sweet truck!! Where'd you purchase your grille? Brand? Do you work at Mt. Scott......? I would love to have that '05 grille set-up for my '04. Oh, how do you like your fuel billet cover?
