I just paid the local Ford dealership $120.00 to tell me there is nothing wrong with my vehicle. Apparently it is my imagination that the ABS system seems to want to activate everytime I step on the brakes irregardless of road conditions.
I continued to insist that the brakes were not working properly. I was then told that the problem ( they actually admitted that there might be a problem) might be caused by after market brake pads I had place on the vehicle.
Is this a possability????? Counld after market brake pads cause the ABS system to function improperly?
Interesting. I had a very similar problem with my 03. Everyone here thought that I was either crazy or had extremely poor driving habits. Mine still does it from time to time. Dealership(s) came up empty. I rack it up to the general quality of my particular vehicle.
